Love Is An Ingredient has served the Twin Cities since 2018 as a trusted shop for hemp-derived THC edibles, CBD, and functional mushroom products. Our Brooklyn Park store serves the north metro, with a full lineup that includes our in-house sister brand, Retro Bakery, along with Minnesota favorites like Edwin's Edibles, Botany Farms, Jesse Ventura Farms, and Trap Packz. We keep things simple: know the product, treat people well, and follow the law every time.

The Role
You're the face of the store. Customers come in with everything from "I've never tried this" to "I know exactly what I want." Your job is to help each one find the right product, send them out confident about dosing, and make sure every sale is compliant.

What You'll Do

• Greet every customer, then ask questions to figure out what they're looking for, such as sleep, relaxation, focus, social use, or their first experience with THC.
• Check a valid government ID on every sale with no exceptions, and refuse any sale to someone under 21 or anyone who appears intoxicated.
• Explain dosing, onset time, and the differences between product formats (gummies, beverages, chocolates, tinctures) in plain language. Steer first-time customers toward low doses.
• Describe products accurately without making medical or health claims.
• Run the register POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and balance your drawer at the end of each shift.
• Enroll customers in the 5% Back Rewards program and apply current promotions correctly.
• Pack and prepare local delivery and DoorDash orders, including age-verification steps.
• Receive inventory, check it against invoices, stock shelves, rotate products by date, and flag anything expired, damaged, or out of compliance.
• Keep displays, the sales floor, and the checkout area clean and merchandised.
• Learn the product lineup, new launches, and brand information, and share them with customers.
• Follow all Minnesota hemp retail regulations and store policies, including labeling, display, and age-verification rules.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 or older.
• At least 1 year(s) of retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience. Experience in cannabis, liquor, or tobacco retail is a plus.
• Comfortable handling cash, running a POS, and doing basic math quickly and accurately.
• Friendly and patient with first-time customers, and firm when a sale has to be refused.
• Reliable and on time. Able to work evenings until 8 PM and weekends, including Sunday.
• Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to [30] lbs.
• Knowledge of hemp-derived THC and CBD is helpful. We'll train the right person.
