Job Description
SALARY RANGE $72K-$76K, ANNUALLY / DOE plus EXCELLENT benefits.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with
2+ years of experience preferably in Construction or Manufacturing industry. Must be comfortable working independently, supporting month-end close, analyzing financial data, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and partnering with plant personnel to ensure accurate reporting. You will play an important role in supporting financial accuracy, internal controls, and operational reporting.
Mon - Friday 7am - 4pm
Requires: * Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum two years’ professional accounting experience specifically cost accounting / constructing accounting.
* Must have working knowledge of GAAP.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook; operate 10-key by touch
* Experience with automated accounting system, SAP experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
- Analyze financial data and assist with operational reporting.
- Partner with plant personnel to ensure accurate accounting and cost reporting.
- Maintain financial accuracy while supporting internal controls and GAAP compliance.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience with cost accounting or construction accounting.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to operate 10-key by touch.
- Experience using an automated accounting system.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and ability to work independently.
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- SAP experience.
- Prior experience supporting plant, operations, or job cost reporting.
