You will:Load and unload grain, agronomy, and feed productsWork with your hands by performing scheduled maintenance and repairsAcquire knowledge on how to monitor and maintain grain qualify, mix/load fertilizer/chemical products and assist in loading trainsDont have a CDL? Our fun and safe work environment is waiting for you, apply today!ResponsibilitiesCarry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently. Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading. Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment. Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks. Monitor and maintain inventory quality. Deliver products safely and professionally. Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance. Report safety or customer issues promptly. Maintain strong safety culture.Perform other assigned dutiesMinimum Qualifications (required)1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations Must meet minimum age requirement Ability to read, write and communicate in English Additional QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED preferred Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred Valid Class A CDL preferred Agriculture background preferred Customer service experience preferred Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 75 lbs Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperaturesCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
